The Calloway County Public Library  to partner with the Four Rivers Regional Prevention Center to provide two virtual Q.P.R. (Question, Persuade, and Refer) suicide prevention training sessions.

(MURRAY, KY) –  September is Suicide Awareness and Prevention Month.  In observance of this important month, the Calloway County Public Library is pleased to partner with the Four Rivers Regional Prevention Center to provide two virtual Q.P.R. (Question, Persuade, and Refer) suicide prevention training sessions.

Q.P.R. teaches individuals 18 years and older a simple three-step process that anyone can learn to help save a life from suicide.

Calloway County Public Library Training Sessions will be held virtually Thursday, September 17, 6:00-7:00 PM, and Thursday, September 24, 12:00-1:00 PM.  Q.P.R. Training Sessions are presented free of charge. Community members may register for their preferred training session with the Eventbrite Links Below. Registration in each session is limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
