The Calloway County Public Library is seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and community-oriented individual to assist in our Library’s makerspace. This individual will create STEM and other programming for the makerspace, guide patrons as needed in using the space or equipment and maintain day-to-day operations of the makerspace. The space includes 3D printers, large format printer, Crickets, Embroider Machine, a heat press and more. The individual will also provide parton services at the Circulation desk. Education requirements for this position are a bachelor’s degree in Library Science or STEM related degree. This position is full-time (40 hrs per week) and will include nights/weekends hours. The Board of Trustees of the Calloway County Public Library seeks applications for a board position. Board members must reside in Calloway County. The board meets the second Tuesday of every month at 5:30 p.m.
Trustee’s primary roles are to hire and evaluate the library director; monitor and evaluate the overall effectiveness of the library; plan for the future of the library; set library policies; advocate for the library.
