Mary Hamilton Storytelling Event!
Please join us for a special family storytelling event featuring Kentucky storyteller Mary Hamilton. Children and adults of all ages are invited to an evening of mesmerizing tales on Thursday, June 27, 2013 6:30-7:30 p.m. in the library’s meeting room.
The event is free of charge. No registration is required.
This event is made possible by a donation form David and Jennifer Bryson.
Writer’s Workshop Information
Are you interested in learning how to write? Want to know how to publish your book?
CCPL will present a writer’s workshop on Saturday, June 15, 2013 from 10:00-11:30 a.m. in the library meeting room.
The workshop will be taught by Laura Anne Ewald and feature information on how to use Amazon’s CreateSpace and Kindle as well as other publishing options; local writer’s groups and information regarding writing and publishing.

Creative Canvas Adult & Teen Event Information
CCPL has collaborated with Creative Canvas of Murray to provide two special art events in June.
CCPL/Creative Canvas Event for Adults:
This event is for adults. It will be held on Tuesday, June 11, 1:00-3:30 at the Creative Canvas Studio.
Adults will enjoy a great afternoon as Creative Canvas artist and owner, Jill Seavers guides each of them through a painting project.
CCPL/Creative Canvas Event for Teens & Tweens:
Teen art event designed for teens and tweens aged 12-17. The event will
be held on Tuesday, June 18, 1:00-3:30 at the Creative Canvas Studio. Teens & Tweens will create a painting of their own and enjoy refreshments.
Both events are free of charge. Registration is required. Space is limited and filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
